SharpAsk ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. When you use the SharpAsk Chrome extension (once launched), we process the text you submit for enhancement. We also collect basic usage data such as the number of enhancements you've used (to enforce free tier limits).
We don't store your prompts. Your text is sent to our server, enhanced using an AI model, and returned to you. We don't keep a copy. We don't sell, share, or trade your email address or any personal data with third parties. We don't use your data to train AI models.
Our landing page may use basic analytics (such as page views and referral sources) to understand how people find us. We don't use tracking cookies for advertising. We don't run retargeting pixels.
We use Loops (loops.so) to manage our waitlist emails. We use Cloudflare for hosting and DNS. When processing prompt enhancements, we route requests through AI model providers (such as Anthropic or OpenAI). These services have their own privacy policies.
Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Prompt text is processed in real-time and not stored after the response is returned.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us. If you're in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, and port your data.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll note the date at the top when changes are made.
